I just noticed that the buckle/clasp on my new medium black classic box is a bit wonky (a bit slanted and does not completely align with the hardware on the flap when closed), and wondered whether I should send it to repair. I'm experiencing issues with the front clasp on my classic box bag. When I open the clasp, it doesn't back close all the way, unless I manually push it down. Until today, it used to snap back automatically! I'm a little worried that over time it may get worse and that the bag won't stay securely closed.
Bag is currently with Celine getting the hardware repaired! I provided proof of purchase and the date code in the bag, Celine sent me a prepaid label and I shipped it off to them. I should get it back in 3-6 weeks and will you all know how it turns out! In this video I clean and condition the bag using Cadillac Boot and Shoe Care. Definitely one of my favorite leather conditioners. It totally got out a lot of the superficial scratches and helped.The range depends on exactly what service your purse needs and whether we need to order any special parts like a Céline buckle or Céline clasp for replacement. Once we have received your purse, our master craftsman will do a complete inspection and share the details with you.Before you start fixing your handbag’s clasp, it’s crucial to understand its mechanics.
