I own three Ball watches. They are fantastic watches and area great value for the money. Personally, I'm not a fan of the rainbow tritium dial, but if that's what you like you should feel confident in the quality of the watch. Here's one of mine, an Engineer III Endurance that I bought on pre-order. I don't think Rolex will just tell you, however if you have it serviced by them yourself any previous services will most likely show up on the paperwork.
